Frequently asked

Straight answers, before you ask.

Question 01

How much does it cost?

Setup, through October 2026
$749 regularly $1,499
License for your finished channel
$999 one time
All-in during the promo
$1,748 and the channel is yours forever

If your website changes all the time (specials, menus, listings), the $150/month plan hosts your channel and covers unlimited updates. One-off refreshes are $250 per update, or $350 if we host your channel. See Pricing for every option.

Question 02

Does it need a TV? What do I need to play it?

No TV required. Think of it as TV in a browser: your channel is a web page, so it plays on any desktop, laptop or tablet. Open the link, go full-screen, and it plays. You can send the same link to customers and they watch it on their own computers.

For a TV in your lobby or window:

Connect any computer or laptop to any TV with an HDMI port (a simple adapter cable covers older laptops) and you're running. Smart TVs with built-in browsers may work too, but the computer-to-TV connection over HDMI is the reliable setup we recommend.

We confirm everything works on your screen before you pay anything.

Question 03

How long until my channel is ready?

Send us your website address and we'll build a free 1-minute demo from it first.

The full channel typically follows within a few days of your go-ahead.

Question 04

What happens when my website changes?

Your channel is built from your site at a point in time, so big website changes mean the channel needs a refresh. One-off refreshes are $250 per update, or $350 if we host your channel.

If things change constantly, like weekly specials, new properties or seasonal menus, the monthly plan covers ongoing updates.

Question 05

Do I own my channel? What if I cancel the monthly plan?

Yes. The channel is yours under a perpetual license.

Canceling the update plan just stops future updates; your channel keeps playing. Nothing gets switched off.

Question 06

Why not just use a digital signage service?

Those are DIY templates you fill in yourself, every month. Website2TV is done-for-you: we turn the website you already paid for into a finished TV channel.

You can't exactly email digital signage to anyone. With Website2TV you can: send your channel in an email, a newsletter or a text, and it plays on whatever screen they open it on.

You can't put digital signage on your website or blog, either. Your Website2TV channel goes right on the page, so visitors watch it without ever leaving your site.

No templates, no design work, no learning curve, and no monthly fee unless you want ongoing updates.

This one is built for a big screen. We recommend a desktop.
